This Canvas program takes approximately 5 hours to complete and will be hosted in from January 12-22. The purpose of the course is to introduce faculty and faculty-track graduate students to the OER conversation and hopefully spark some interest in Open Education initiatives on campus and within their discipline. At the end of this course, the OER Steering Committee will invite participants to a virtual Q&A / coffee break session where we can delve further into the topics and discuss next steps.

Module one - Introduction to OER (approx. 2 hours)

Module two - Finding OER (approx. 1 hour)

Module three - Copyright and licensing (approx. 1 hour)

Module four - Being an OER @ Mines Champion (approx. 1 hour - this time estimate includes the virtual coffee break time)
