How Do I Access Library Resources from Off Campus?

Quick Answer: Start from the Library Website, find what you want and log in with your Mines credentials when prompted.


Online resources (eBooks, eJournals, databases, etc.) are available from off-campus via the Library Website. Locate the resource you need andOff-Campus video tutorial on YouTube log in with your Mines credentials when prompted.

Any of the following methods will provide full access from off-campus for library-subscribed resources.

  • Use links on the library website: Search | Journals | Databases A-Z
  • Use a browser extension to load links through the proxy
  • Add the proxy prefix before links (https://mines.idm.oclc.org/login?url=). Update bookmarks with this prefix.
