Use GIS to identify damaged structures in Puerto Rico
We will spend 1 hour using GIS (computerized mapping) to help disaster relief agencies by marking which structures have been damaged and which have not. There are over 400,000 structures in Puerto Rico, yet only 17,000 have been marked for damage. NO EXPERIENCE with IS NEEDED to help with this project.
When: MONDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2017 6pm—7pm (arrive at 5:30 to get a GIS account)
Where: The LIBRARY, Boettcher Room
